
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a big record in his name on June 9. On this day he will become the country’s longest continuously elected Prime Minister. He will break the record of the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. According to statistics, Jawaharlal Nehru was the continuously elected Prime Minister for a total of 4397 days from 13 May 1952 to 27 May 1964. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been in the post of Prime Minister continuously since 26 May 2014 and by 9 June, 4,390 days of his tenure will be completed.
That means on the same day Nehru’s record of 4397 days will be broken and Modi will go ahead in this matter. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Modi has taken oath of office for the third time on June 9 itself. A meeting of all the Chief Ministers of NDA has been called on June 10, the next day of this historic achievement. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be grandly honored in this meeting. A special resolution will also be passed on this occasion.
Big leaders coming to PM Samman meeting
Big leaders of BJP from all over the country are coming to attend this meeting. All NDA Chief Ministers including Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will be present in the meeting. Besides, senior Union Cabinet Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Naveen will also attend this meeting.
Indira Gandhi and Manmohan Singh have also been PM more than once
After Jawaharlal Nehru and Narendra Modi come the names of Indira Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, who have been elected more than once. Indira Gandhi was the Prime Minister from 24 January 1966 to 24 March 1977. After defeat in the 1977 elections, she again became Prime Minister from 1980-84. Whereas Dr. Manmohan Singh became Prime Minister twice consecutively from 2004-2014.
