
The tension between America, Israel and Iran is showing no signs of decreasing. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke on phone to Kuwait’s Emir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al Sabah. During this, the rapidly changing security situation in the Middle East was discussed between the two leaders.
According to the statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, PM Modi expressed deep concern over the increasing tension in the region and strongly condemned the attacks on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Kuwait. He stressed the need to reduce tensions, restore peace and stability as soon as possible through dialogue and diplomatic efforts.
Expressed gratitude for the safety of Indians
Along with this, Prime Minister Modi also expressed his gratitude to the Amir of Kuwait for his personal attention towards the safety and welfare of the Indian community living in Kuwait. According to the Foreign Ministry, the two leaders exchanged views on the current situation in West Asia and issues related to regional security.
Indian youth died in the attack on the airport
This conversation of PM Modi took place a few days after the attack on Kuwait International Airport. One Indian was killed and many others were injured in this attack. India had condemned this attack and demanded action against the culprits. PM Modi assured the Amir that India stands with Kuwait and will cooperate in every difficulty.
Foreign Ministry had condemned
On June 3, the External Affairs Ministry had said that civilians and infrastructure should not be targeted. Expressing condolences to the family of the victim, the ministry had said that the Indian mission present in the area is on alert to help the affected citizens and closely monitor the situation.
Tension continues between Iran and America
Meanwhile, tension between America and Iran has once again reached its peak in the last 24 hours. After the crash of Apache helicopter near the Strait of Hormuz, America launched rapid attacks on Iran. He targeted Qeshm Island, Hormuz, Jask, Sirik, Bandar Abbas and Bushehr.
In fact, America claims that the helicopter crashed after colliding with an Iranian drone. President Donald Trump said that Iran shot down the helicopter and he threatened that Iran would be given a befitting reply. Whereas Iran clearly denied the attack on the helicopter. After the American attacks, Iran also retaliated and attacked the American base in Bahrain with a drone. During this, the Iranian army fired several ballistic missiles.
