Many farmers were eagerly waiting for the 23rd installment of PM Kisan Yojana of Rs 2,000. They will get it soon because the date of 23rd installment of PM Kisan has been announced. The benefit of this scheme is being given to those farmers whose land information is registered on PM Kisan Portal, whose bank accounts are linked to their Aadhar card (UID card), and who have completed their e-KYC (e-Know Your Customer) process. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had released the 22nd installment of PM Kisan Yojana at an event in Guwahati, Assam on March 13, 2026.
When will the new installment of PM Kisan come?
This amount will be deposited directly into the bank accounts of PM Kisan beneficiaries through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) on June 20, 2026. PM Modi will release this fund from Tarakeswar in Hooghly district of West Bengal.
What is PM Kisan Yojana?
Under this scheme, eligible farmers are given financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year in three equal installments. This financial assistance helps them in meeting the needs of seeds, fertilizers, equipment and other farming related needs.
How to see name in the list?
On the PM Kisan website, you can see whether your name is included in the official beneficiary list of the scheme or not. To see this, first of all you have to go to the official PM Kisan portal https://pmkisan.gov.in/. Then go to Farmers Corner: Find the Farmers Corner section on the homepage. After that click on the Beneficiary List option in the menu. After that select state, district, block and village and click on get report. After that all the names of the beneficiaries of PM Kisan Yojana will be visible.
Who will not get the 23rd installment?
The government has identified some suspicious cases which can be removed from the beneficiary list of PM Kisan Yojana. These include those farmers who acquired land ownership after February 1, 2019. Also, cases where more than one member of the same family is availing the benefit (eg, both husband and wife, one adult member and one minor, etc.). On the other hand, in such cases the benefits have been withheld until the physical verification is completed.
Is eKYC necessary?
According to PM Kisan Portal, eKYC is mandatory for all registered farmers. OTP-based eKYC can be completed online through the PM Kisan website, while biometric-based eKYC can be done at the nearest Common Service Center (CSC).
How to do eKYC?
Eligible farmers should note that it is necessary to complete eKYC to get the next installment of PM Kisan Yojana. Without completing eKYC, they will not get the next installment of Rs 2,000. Farmers can complete their eKYC online by visiting pmkisan.gov.in website and choosing e-KYC option. They have to enter their Aadhaar number, verify it through OTP and submit it for verification.

However, there are three main methods for e-KYC. The first method is OTP. Through which eKYC will be completed. Biometric e-KYC will also be available at Common Service Center (CSC) and State Service Center. The third method is face authentication. This method is available on PM Kisan mobile app, which is used by lakhs of farmers.
