Meta Plus Subscription: Meta has launched new Paid Plus Subscription Plans for Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook users around the world including India. Meta, which is dependent on advertisements, will now charge you monthly for premium features. If you want advanced and premium features then you will have to pay money to the company every month. Meta has introduced Facebook Plus, Instagram Plus and WhatsApp Plus versions, users taking paid subscription will get many exclusive and premium features like secret story preview, story rewatch count, custom themes and animated super hearts.
Meta Plus Subscription Price
This move shows that Meta is no longer dependent on ads alone for revenue. Instead, the company now wants users to pay every month for a premium social media experience, extra visibility and advanced messaging features. Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus are priced at $3.99 (approximately Rs 387) per month, while WhatsApp Plus is priced at $2.99 (approximately Rs 290) per month. However, Meta has not yet revealed its exact price in India.
What will you get by paying money?
According to a TechCrunch report, Instagram Plus subscribers will be able to see how many people rewatched their Stories, create unlimited Story audience lists in addition to the Close Friends feature, and even secretly preview Stories without appearing in the viewer list.
The paid plan also allows users to expand stories beyond the 24-hour limit and spotlight one story every week for more visibility. Another fun feature is that it lets you post directly to your profile and highlights without appearing in your followers’ feeds. Instagram Plus users will get animated super heart reactions, custom app icons, special fonts for bios, and more profile pins.
What will you get on WhatsApp?
It is expected that similar features will be available in Facebook Plus, whereas WhatsApp Plus is focusing on messaging personalization. WhatsApp subscribers will get custom themes, unique ringtones, premium stickers, additional pinned chats and advanced list customization tools.
Meta One Subscription Plan Price
Apart from this, Meta One subscription plan has also been introduced which includes AI, Creator and business-focused plans. The new Meta AI subscriptions will come in two tiers. The first plan, called Meta One Plus, will be priced at $7.99 (approximately Rs 775) per month and is aimed at people who frequently use Meta AI to capture images, create videos or handle longer reasoning tasks. Meta One Premium plan will cost $19.99 (approximately Rs 1939) per month and will offer the same features but with a higher usage limit.
