The exam will be conducted again on June 21
Earlier on Thursday, quoting sources, it was reported that the government is considering the possibility of taking the help of the Indian Air Force to move the papers from one place to another to conduct the NEET-UG examination to be held again on June 21 next month in a completely safe and error-free manner.
This option was discussed in a high-level meeting led by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia also attended the meeting. According to sources, ministers and senior officials discussed that IAF aircraft could be used to transport the papers from one place to another.
PM Modi can take a decision on this
However, sources said that no final decision has been taken yet and this option will be placed before Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take a final decision. It is believed that PM Modi himself is personally monitoring the preparations for this examination to be held on June 21.
Earlier, NEET exam was conducted on May 3 in 551 cities of the country and 14 centers abroad. About 23 lakh candidates had registered for this examination. But due to paper leak on May 12, NTA canceled the exam and again the date of exam was fixed for June 21.
