Fuel prices in the country have remained the same since May 25.
Why is crude oil becoming cheaper in the global market?
Last week, huge selling was seen in the prices of crude oil in the international market. This trend continues this week also. The main reason for this is the recent situation of reconciliation taking place in West Asia. After the start of Iran war, there was a huge jump of up to 50 percent in the prices of crude oil, which now seems to be calming down. On Monday morning, Brent crude fell 4.03 percent to $ 83.81 per barrel, whereas last week it closed at $ 87.33. Similarly, WTI crude is also trading at $ 80.91 per barrel, slipping by 4.68 percent.

Today in the national capital Delhi, petrol is being sold at Rs 102.12 per liter and diesel at Rs 95.20 per liter. In the financial capital Mumbai, the price of petrol remains at Rs 111.21 and the price of diesel remains at Rs 97.83 per liter.
