On Monday itself, the companies had increased the burden on petrol by Rs 2.61 per liter and on diesel by Rs 2.71 per liter.
Condition of oil market after continuous shocks

This process of increase started on May 15, when oil companies increased the price by Rs 3 per liter. After this, on May 19 also an increase of 90 paise was made. Overall, oil prices have increased significantly by Rs 7.5 in four times so far. Even though the prices are stable today, this continuous increase in the last few days has broken the back of the customers.
Skyrocketing oil prices in big cities
Oil prices have reached an all-time high in many parts of the country. Its biggest impact is visible in South India. In Hyderabad, petrol is being sold at Rs 115.73 and diesel at Rs 103.82 per liter. After this comes Thiruvananthapuram, where one has to pay Rs 115.49 for 1 liter petrol and Rs 104.41 for diesel.
