RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has said a big thing. During a program in Nagpur on Wednesday, he said that the people who came to India from Pakistan after the partition of the country in 1947 were not refugees, but warriors of the struggle. He suffered a lot out of love for his motherland and his religion. They left behind their wealth and business built by the hard work of many generations in Pakistan and came to India.
Speaking on the 75th foundation day of Indus Education Society, Bhagwat said that after Partition, people took a conscious decision to come to India. They wanted to live in India, where they would have the freedom to practice their religion without fear. Bhagwat stressed that although they had left their families behind, it was wrong to call them ‘refugees’. They were warriors, fighting for the motherland and religion.
The Sangh chief further said that he did not lose that battle only because of his mistakes. Together we had lost the battle to keep India united. But what did these people choose? He neither chose a good job nor property. He chose country and religion.
One should not give up in adverse circumstances
He said that one should not give up in adverse circumstances but after falling, one should get up and try again. One should not consider oneself helpless in front of circumstances or fate. The person who tries to come out even in difficult times is successful in the end, whereas the one who runs away from difficulties has already accepted defeat in the beginning.
Emphasizing on education, he said that it is necessary to get education to get a job, but it should not be the last objective of education. Value based education is very important to develop the ability to understand the difference between right and wrong. This education is not only obtained from books, but also from the behavior of teachers and the values they inculcate in the students. He said that the real purpose of education is to make good humans. We have to create a generation that is aware of the welfare of the society and works for its welfare.
