
South’s superstar Ram Charan is in the news these days about his upcoming film ‘Peddi’. Ram Charan has been in the industry for many years but even today his fans eagerly wait for each of his films. The trailer of ‘Peddi’ is out and the film is also going to be released on June 4. This film has a very high demand among Telugu fans, hence the makers want to release the film on a special hike in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The makers of Ram Charan’s sports drama film wanted a special show of the film in the state. Accepting the demand of the makers, the Andhra Pradesh government has increased the ticket price of the film in its state. But at present no response has come from the Telangana government.
Andhra Pradesh government approved
Andhra Pradesh government has given the green signal for the special premiere show on June 3 at 8 pm. After the release of the film, the government has given permission for 5 shows every day for a week and has also increased the ticket prices. The fare has been increased by Rs 100 in single screen theaters and by Rs 125 in multiplexes. The government has also fixed the ticket price for the premiere show. The ticket price for the premiere has been fixed at Rs 600. Fans already have high expectations from the film ‘Peddi’.
Makers withdrew the petition
The makers had approached the High Court demanding a hike in the ticket price of the film. According to the news of Deccan Herald, the bench of Telangana High Court clearly said that they cannot force the government to increase the ticket prices. In the first week of the film’s release, the makers had filed a petition in the High Court for increase in ticket price, but the makers have currently withdrawn this petition. Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s Peddi has been directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
