
Adhik Maas Parma Ekadashi 2026: Ekadashi date is considered very sacred in Sanatan Dharma. In this too, Ekadashi falling in Adhikamas is considered very special. This is because both Ekadashi Tithi and Adhikamas are dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Adhikamaas comes once in three years. It is also called Purushottam month and Malmas. While in other years there are 24 Ekadashi fasts throughout the year, in Adhikamas their number becomes 26. Padmini and Parma Ekadashi fast is observed in Adhikamas.

- According to Drik Panchang, the Ekadashi tithi of Krishna Paksha of Adhikamas will start on June 11, 2026 at 12:57 am.
- It will end at 10:36 pm on June 11.
In Hindu religion, fasts and festivals are determined keeping in view the Udayatithi, hence the fast of Parma Ekadashi will be observed on Thursday, June 11.
Do not do these things on Parma Ekadashi
Sleeping in the afternoon: On the day of Parma Ekadashi, do not forget the fast and sleep in the afternoon. Sleeping in the afternoon on the day of Ekadashi is considered prohibited.
Wearing black clothes: Do not wear black colored clothes on Ekadashi date even unknowingly. This color is considered a symbol of negativity. Due to this, Lord Vishnu may get angry and the results of the fast are not achieved.
Food intake: Those fasting on Parma Ekadashi should not consume water, fruits or food from someone else’s house. This destroys the fast.
Consumption of meat and alcohol: On the day of Parma Ekadashi, do not consume meat or alcohol and do not indulge in lust, anger and jealousy.
