Parama Ekadashi 2026: In Sanadhan religious scriptures, fasting on Ekadashi is considered to give the best results. This fast has been dedicated to Lord Shri Hari Vishnu, the sustainer of the world. Tomorrow, the fast of Parma Ekadashi falling in the Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha Adhikamas will be observed. This Ekadashi is considered very special, because the fast of Parama Ekadashi is observed once in three years. Along with fasting on this day, one gets the blessings of Lord Vishnu by worshiping as per rituals.

There is a religious belief that by observing the fast of Parama Ekadashi and worshiping Lord Vashnu properly, all the sins of life are destroyed and by the grace of God, happiness and prosperity comes in life. Charity also has special significance on this day. Breaking the fast of Ekadashi is also very special, because according to the rule, breaking the fast gives its full results. The fast of Parma Ekadashi will be broken on 12th June.

Date of Parama Ekadashi (Parama Ekadashi 2026 Tithi)

  • According to Drik Panchang, the Ekadashi tithi of Jyeshtha Adhikamas will start on 11th June i.e. tomorrow Thursday at 12.57 am.
  • This Ekadashi Tithi will end tomorrow night itself at 10.36 pm.

In such a situation, according to the belief of Udayatithi, the fast of Parma Ekadashi will be observed tomorrow, Thursday, 11th June.

Parama Ekadashi 2026 Vrat Parana Time

According to religious scriptures, it is always auspicious to break the fast of Ekadashi on Dwadashi date only. In such a situation, the fast of Parma Ekadashi will be broken on Dwadashi date i.e. on Friday, June 12, 2026. According to the Drik Panchang, the time for breaking the fast on June 12 will be from 05:23 am to 08:10 am. It would be best to break the fast at this time only.

Parama Ekadashi Puja Vidhi

  • On the day of Parma Ekadashi, wake up in Brahma Muhurta and take bath.
  • Then take a pledge to fast.
  • After this, place the idol of Lord Vishnu on a pedestal at the place of worship.
  • Apply sandalwood or turmeric tilak to Lord Vishnu. Worship them duly with fruits, flowers, dry fruits, basil, incense, lamp etc.
  • Offer banana and basil to Lord Vishnu.
  • Read the fast story.
  • Chant the mantras of Lord Vishnu.
  • After the puja, perform aarti and distribute prasad.
