
A note written as a bomb was found in the toilet of an Indigo flight to Guwahati at Pune International Airport on Friday, which created a stir. As soon as information about the matter was received, a case was registered against the person who made the threat. Airport officer Vishal Kumar Srivastava has lodged a complaint in this regard at the police station.
According to the police, a routine inspection of a Guwahati bound flight was conducted at Pune International Airport at around 6:45 am on Friday (May 29). During this time the toilet of the flight was inspected. It is being told that when the plane was getting ready to take off with the passengers, the air hostess checked the toilet of the plane and found a note on which bomb was written in bold letters.
Air hostess found note in toilet
Police said that all the passengers had boarded the plane and the plane was moving towards the taxiway, when an air hostess went to the toilet and found a note with ‘bomb’ written on it. He immediately raised an alarm, after which the aircraft crew informed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).
Nothing was found in the investigation
As soon as information about the matter was received, panic spread among the people. After this the plane was immediately taken to a deserted place and the passengers were disembarked safely. After this the security forces immediately examined the plane. During the investigation, no bomb-like object was found in the toilet of the plane.
Case registered against unknown person
Due to this incident the flight to Guwahati was delayed for some time. Senior Police Inspector Govind Jadhav visited the spot. Police have registered a case against an unknown person for leaving the note in the toilet of the plane. Police Sub-Inspector Gunda is investigating the case.
What did Indigo spokesperson say
IndiGo spokesperson said, ‘On May 29, a security threat was felt in IndiGo flight 6E 623 from Pune to Guwahati (Assam) just before take-off. Following the prescribed protocol, we immediately informed the relevant authorities and cooperated with them in necessary security investigations. We regret the inconvenience caused to passengers. As always, the safety of our passengers, crew and aircraft is our top priority.
I had received threats earlier also
Although this is not the first time, before this messages were sent informing about the planting of a bomb at Pune International Airport. The police control room was informed about this through email and telephone. Investigation revealed that this work was done with malicious intentions.
