
More than 50 security personnel have died in continuous attacks on security forces in Pakistan during the last one week. Between July 1 and July 7, small and big attacks in different provinces have raised serious questions on the security system of Pakistan.
In these attacks, mainly security forces, police posts and military establishments have been targeted. After these all-round attacks, many questions are being raised regarding the strategy of Pakistan government and army.
When did the attacks occur?
- July 1: A policeman killed on Kohat-Hangu road in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
- July 2: A Frontier Corps (FC) soldier was killed in Bajaur and two policemen were killed in Mohammad (Mohmand) district.
- July 3: About 30 coast guard soldiers were killed in a major attack, while 16 others were injured.
- July 5: Pakistan Air Force Group Captain Asim Tariq was killed in a targeted attack in Islamabad. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for this attack.
- July 7: 16 policemen were killed in an attack in Ziarat district of Balochistan.
30 killed in suicide attack
BLA carried out a major suicide attack on Pakistan Coast Guard camp near Gwadar Port in Balochistan. The terrorists rammed a truck full of explosives into the camp and blew themselves up. More than 30 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this attack while many were injured.
Pakistan’s security under the shadow of terror
Let us tell you that these continuous attacks have created new concerns about the security situation in Pakistan. However, some claims of these incidents are yet to be confirmed. There were 1099 terrorist attacks in Pakistan in 2024 and this graph is increasing rapidly in 2025-2026.
