
A cargo plane went missing in Pakistan on Tuesday (July 7) night. There were five crew members on board this aircraft. Who are being searched. According to Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), this cargo plane was coming to Karachi from Sharjah in United Arab Emirates. It is being told that during the flight, Air Traffic Control (ATC) was informed about a malfunction in the navigation system. A few minutes later, the plane lost radar contact and disappeared.
According to Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), the Boeing 737 cargo aircraft of K2 Airways was in contact with Karachi Area Control Center (ACC) at around 9:18 pm local time on Tuesday night. Meanwhile, the pilot reported a problem with the navigation system. After this the air traffic control gave necessary instructions to the aircraft.

Aircraft lost contact with radar
However, after a few minutes the plane was seen on radar descending rapidly and suddenly changing direction. Radar contact and communication with the aircraft was lost about 155 nautical miles west of Karachi. The aircraft was being operated by Karachi-based private cargo airline K2 Airways.
Rescue operation continues
Immediately after the incident, Pakistan Airports Authority activated the Rescue Coordination Centre. A large-scale search and rescue operation has been launched in the sea with the help of Navy, Coast Guard and other concerned agencies. Rescue teams are trying to locate the plane and its crew members. Officials are constantly monitoring the situation.
Following the occurrence RESCUE COORD CENTER has been activated and coordinated Search & Rescue launched at sea through various agencies to locate the missing aircraft.

Earlier in the year 2020, there was a plane accident in Pakistan. During that time, a passenger plane of Pakistan International Airlines had crashed near Karachi Airport. In that accident, 97 out of 99 people on board the plane died, while only two people were able to survive.
