
Pakistan, which has the reputation of spreading terrorism in the world, is busy in improving its image. For this he is taking the help of America. To improve its international image, Pakistan has signed a two-year lobbying agreement worth $1.2 million in Washington. Through this deal it will also advance its strategic interests. According to this agreement, the Pakistani Embassy in Washington has appointed an American firm Ervin Graves Strategy Group, LLC at a monthly fee of $50,000. This agreement will be effective from 1 May 2026.
The agreement was signed by Tom Graves, CEO of Ervin Graves Strategy LLC and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh. Under this agreement, the firm has been specifically entrusted with the task of changing the perception towards Pakistan in Washington. In an effort to change this perception, Pakistan will be presented as a reliable trade and counter-terrorism partner. At the same time, efforts will be made to distance Islamabad from the challenges of its long-standing terrorist image.
What will the lobbying firm do?
American lobbying firm Ervin Graves Strategy Group has not only been given the responsibility of improving the image of Pakistan but has also been entrusted with the task of running an advocacy campaign. This firm will organize high-level meetings with White House and Pentagon officials. It will also try to influence members of the US Congress and key congressional committees that oversee defense, trade and foreign policy. A key part of this strategy is to host receptions, roundtable discussions, and behind-closed-door policy discussions at the Pakistani Embassy in Washington between US lawmakers, staff from key ministries, and Pakistani officials.
This firm will establish coordination with American lawmakers and Congress staff before their visits to Pakistan. Will also give them information. The objective of this effort is to ensure that their thinking is given the right direction about the ground situation there even before they visit the area.
