Pakistan exposed again… Lashkar terrorist, mastermind of Pahalgam attack also attended the funeral of Shoaib Akhtar’s brother.

June 27, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Shahid Akhtar, elder brother of former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, has passed away. His last rites were performed in the capital Islamabad. The special thing is that terrorists associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba also attended Shahid Akhtar’s funeral. After which this matter has now come into limelight. This clearly shows how terrorists are getting safe haven in the neighboring country. Due to this once again questions are being raised on Pakistan.

It is well known that terrorists are given shelter in Pakistan. However, neighboring countries often deny this. Despite this, it has been exposed many times and terrorists have been seen openly there. The terrorists who attended the funeral have once again exposed the evil face of Pakistan in front of everyone.

Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists attended the funeral

According to the information, Shoaib Akhtar’s elder brother Shahid Akhtar died on June 24. He was buried in H-8 cemetery of Islamabad. Many Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists attended Shahid’s funeral. Lashkar’s deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri was also included among them.

Video of funeral surfaced

The video of the funeral also surfaced on social media which is going viral. In this, Lashkar terrorists are seen offering funeral prayers. Shoaib Akhtar is also standing with him. According to sources, the video was released by Lashkar or Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), an offshoot of the banned Jamaat-ud-Dawa (Jud). Since this video surfaced, many kinds of questions are being raised.

Those who attended the funeral included PMML’s Islamabad chief Inam-ur-Rehman Kamboh and its members Abdullah Toor, Hafiz Omar and Amjad Bhatti. Talha Saeed, son of Lashkar founder Hafiz Saeed and member of PMML, was also present at the funeral.

Mastermind of Halgam attack also arrived

Among those attending the funeral were close associates of 26/11 attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed. Saeed is the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Lashkar’s deputy chief Saifullah Kasuri was also seen at the funeral. This is the same Kasuri who is considered the mastermind of the attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir in 2025. 25 tourists were killed in this terrorist attack.

India gave a befitting reply

After this cowardly act of terrorists, India took strict action and suspended the water treaty. Along with this, major terrorist camps including Lashkar headquarters in Muridke were destroyed under Operation Sindoor. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan by targeting military bases.

Kasuri upset by India’s action

These attacks had shaken Lashkar and other terrorist organizations. Since then Kasuri has been making inflammatory statements against India. Recently he had warned of another attack like 26/11 through sea route. In a video that surfaced in February, Kasuri was seen openly threatening India.

Terrorists are getting shelter in Pakistan

This incident has once again exposed Pakistan and proved that Islamabad remains a safe haven for terrorists. This is the second time in recent times that Talha has been seen at a public event. In April, he had shared the stage with Rana Sanaullah, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and both had talked to each other for a long time.

Hafiz Saeed, declared a terrorist by the United Nations, had formed PMML to avoid the ban on organizations like Jamaat-ud-Dawa and Milli Muslim League. This party had also contested the Pakistani elections of 2024. The open participation of banned terrorists in a public program once again exposes the real face of Pakistan. This shows how anti-India elements are getting protection in Pakistan and terrorists are roaming without fear.
