Remedies for Padmini Ekadashi: Today is the fast of Padmini Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha Adhikamas month. This fast falls in Adhikamas, hence it is observed once in three years. Light a lamp with nine lights: On the night of Ekadashi, light a nine-wick lamp (Navagraha lamp) of cow’s ghee in front of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi. Light the lamp and chant the mantra ‘Om Shreem Hreem Kleem Kamalvasinya Swaha’ or ‘Om Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya’ 108 times. On the evening of Padmini Ekadashi, light a lamp of cow ghee near the Tulsi plant and revolve around the Mother Goddess 11 or 21 times.
