
Secrets of Padmanabhaswamy Temple: Padmanabhaswamy Temple is famous all over the world because of its immense treasures. It is also called the richest temple of India. This temple is located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This temple has been dedicated to Sri Padmanabhaswamy, a form of Lord Srihari Vishnu, the sustainer of the world. Here Lord Vishnu is seated in sleeping posture.
There are seven basements in this temple. Out of which, treasure worth billions of rupees has been found in six cellars, but its seventh door has not been opened till date or rather no one has been able to open it. There is a deep secret behind this door.
History of the temple
It is said that this temple was built by the kings of Travancore in the 16th century. It is believed that he himself had hidden a huge amount of treasure in the basements of this temple. Till now, under the supervision of the Supreme Court, the doors of six cellars of this temple have been opened, from which huge quantities of gold, silver, diamonds and jewels have been recovered.
Opening the door of the seventh basement is inauspicious.
An attempt was also made to open the door of the seventh basement of this temple, but the attempt was stopped after seeing the picture of a big snake on the door. According to the beliefs associated with the temple, it would be inauspicious to open the door of its seventh basement. It is considered a cursed door. It is said that whoever tries to open this door will die.
The door has been closed by chanting mantras
It is also believed that as soon as this door of the basement of the temple is opened, there will be a cataclysm on earth. It is said that when some people tried to open this door, they were bitten by snakes and died. The door of the seventh basement has been closed by chanting mantras and that door can also be opened in the same manner. This is the reason why this door of the temple remains a mystery even today.
