
The Education Ministry has given clarification on the alleged fire incident in the office of the Education Ministry. In a statement issued by the Education Ministry, it has been said that some media reports have wrongly stated that a fire broke out in the office of the Education Ministry. The statement said that the Ministry of Education is at Duty Bhawan-2, Dr. Rajendra Prasad Road, New Delhi, whereas, the fire incident took place in the premises of the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA), which is at 4- Block B, Indraprastha Estate, Vikas Marg (ITO), New Delhi – 110002.

Congress cornered the government
Congress has expressed concern over the fire that broke out in the office of the Education Ministry in Central Delhi on Monday. Congress President Mallikarjun Khargewrote on X that There is no trace of fire in the Education Ministry, but the real fire on our education system has been set by BJP through its misdeeds. BJP has made education a business of plunder through paper leak mafias. The story which started with the Vyapam scam, is now being borne by even CBSE students.

Reacting to the incident, Congress general secretary (communications) Jairam Ramesh said the fire is a matter of grave concern. Ramesh said in a post on X, “The news of fire in the office of the Ministry of Education is very worrying. It is also very disturbing.”

Delhi Fire Service said they received an emergency call about the fire at around 9.37 am, following which eight fire tenders were sent to the spot. Later firefighters controlled the fire. Officials have not yet revealed the cause of the fire.
The Education Ministry has clarified that the fire did not break out in its office, but in the School of Planning and Architecture (SPA) campus located in Delhi. The ministry said that the fire was minor, which was quickly brought under control and there was no report of any loss of life or property. Earlier, Congress leaders had expressed concern over the news of fire in the Education Ministry and targeted the Central Government regarding the education system.
On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia expressed grief over the fire incident. He said that he said from where NEET papers were leaked and where there were irregularities in the CBSE answer sheet. A fire broke out there. Now all evidence will be destroyed by setting fire to the lives of millions of children!
