Oppo has silently increased the prices of some mid-range smartphones. The prices of Oppo K14, Oppo K14x, and Oppo A6s have been changed, all the RAM and storage variants of these smartphones have become expensive and the prices have increased by Rs 4000. It is believed that the rising cost of components and shortage of memory chips are the reasons for the increase in prices.
Which phone became more expensive?
The price of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of Oppo K14 is Rs 21,999, it was launched at Rs 19,999. The price of 6GB RAM and 256GB variant is Rs 24,999 whereas this variant was launched for Rs 21,999. The 8GB RAM and 256GB variant will now be sold for Rs 27,999 instead of Rs 23,999.
Oppo The price of all variants of K14x has increased by Rs 1000. 4GB RAM and 64 GB variants will be sold for Rs 16,999 instead of Rs 15,999. 4GB RAM and 128GB variant will now be sold for Rs 18999 (launch price Rs 17,999), 6GB RAM and 128 GB variant will now be sold for Rs 209999 (launch price Rs 19,999).
Apart from this, the price of Oppo A6s has also been increased. The 4GB RAM and 128 GB variants of this phone will now be sold for Rs 21999 instead of Rs 20999. 6 GB RAM and 128 GB variants will be sold for Rs 24,999 instead of Rs 22,999. The increased price of the phone is now visible on the website of Oppo India.
Oppo has not given the reason for this new change in price. This may be related to rising component prices and memory chip shortages worldwide. According to a circular shared by Oppo with its retail partners, this price change will be effective from July 20.
MediaTek Dimension 6300 processor has been used in Oppo K14, Oppo K14x and Oppo A6s for speed and multitasking. All these models have 6.75 inch display and dual rear camera setup, which has a 50 megapixel primary camera sensor.
