Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in the 135th episode of Mann Ki Baat that half of the year 2026 is about to pass. In these 6 months, we have discussed many achievements of the countrymen in Mann Ki Baat. He said that even in June, the country has achieved some achievements which fill every countryman with pride. These successes are related to the country’s security and self-reliance. He said that recently I got the opportunity to attend a program related to the Navy in Kolkata. He said on the players that the youth of the country are playing and blossoming, the youth are now adopting sports as a career.
He said that INS Dunagiri, INS Modihar and INS Agray were included in the Indian Naval Fleet. Right from the design and manufacturing of these ships, everything is indigenous. PM Modi said that this time many various yoga programs were held at more than 2500 places in the world. Crores of people participated in yoga programs at various places in our country.

‘India won a total of 114 medals’
PM Modi said that this month, the ‘World Yogasana Championship’ held in Ahmedabad was also discussed a lot. In this, India has won a total of 114 medals, including 102 gold medals. India stood first in the medal table of this championship. PM Modi said that a family in Nanded, Maharashtra has done such a thing to share their happiness, which has become a topic of discussion.
PM Modi said that the Pethkar family lives here in Bahadurpura village of Nanded. This family thought that if happiness has to be shared, then such a thing should be given which can support a family in difficult times. He said that on the occasion of marriage in their home, this family arranged accident insurance for about three and a half thousand people of the village. Every person was given an insurance cover of Rs 1 lakh.
‘Big success in aviation sector’
The PM said that in the month of June itself, the country achieved a big success in the aviation sector. C-295, this aircraft is ‘Made In India’ and C-295 aircraft has completed its first flight and 40 such aircraft are being made in India only. This is giving new strength to MSME and Aerospace sector. Employment opportunities are increasing.
Specialty of ‘Hargila’ bird
PM Modi said that ‘Hargila’ is a rare bird. It plays an important role in keeping nature clean. But in some areas of Assam it was considered inauspicious for a long time. People did not like to see this around them. Many times the trees on which Hargila’s nests were built were also cut down. During this time, biologist Purnima Devi Burman saw all this. He pledged to change the misconception in the minds of people. He talked to the women, he explained to the people on the basis of science, gradually women started joining this campaign. Then a big change started. The bird which was once considered inauspicious and was driven away, started becoming the identity of the villages.
PM Modi said that the government is providing security cover to crores of families in the country. Under the ‘Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana’, an annual premium of only Rs 20, that is, a premium of only Rs 20 for a year, gives ‘accident insurance’ up to Rs 2 lakh. Till now more than 58 crore people have joined this scheme. ‘Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana’ is also equally important. This scheme provides an insurance cover of Rs 2 lakh to the family of a person in case of his tragic death. Its annual premium is only Rs 436. That means hardly one and a half rupees per day. More than 27 crore people have joined this scheme so far.
