The Indian Embassy in Kuwait informed on Wednesday that an Indian citizen has died in the attack on Kuwait International Airport. According to the Health Ministry, at least 63 other people have been injured in this attack. Kuwait’s Health Ministry spokesman Abdullah al-Sanad said, “63 injured people were admitted to hospitals. These include serious injuries, such as head injuries, cerebral hemorrhage, amputations and blast injuries.” He further informed that 25 ambulances were sent to the airport.
After the Iran attack, the Indian Embassy expressed its condolences for the victims in a post on X. The embassy said it is working in close coordination with Kuwaiti authorities to provide all possible help and assistance to the victim’s family and those injured in the attack. Civil Aviation Office spokesman Abdullah Al-Rajhi said that Kuwait has closed its air services on Wednesday following the loss of life and property and damage to airport facilities due to the attacks on Terminal One.

Took revenge for American attack- IRGC
Iran’s Revolutionary Guards claimed responsibility for the attack on Kuwait and said it was in retaliation for US attacks on an Iranian oil tanker and an island. Iran has carried out this attack with the intention of giving a lesson to America and its allies, so that America and Israel do not take such action in future.
“In response to this aggression, Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, where helicopters are deployed, and the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain were targeted by Guards forces with missiles and drones,” the Guards said in a statement released on its official Telegram channel.
Gulf countries condemned Iranian attack
Gulf countries have strongly condemned this attack by Iran. UAE Presidential Advisor Anwar Gargash said on social media, “In view of Iran’s repeated aggression against Kuwait and Bahrain, it is extremely important for the Gulf countries to adopt a strong, united and concrete stance. This aggression does not target just one country, but targets all of us.”

Kuwait’s Foreign Ministry condemned this attack. At the same time, the Indian Foreign Ministry also condemned this attack on Kuwait International Airport and expressed its condolences to the victim’s family.
