Heavy selling was seen in the domestic stock markets in the last phase of trading on Wednesday due to the rise in crude oil prices amid fears of the US-Iran interim agreement ending. During this period, Sensex and Nifty fell by more than two percent. Where Sensex saw a fall of more than 1900 points. On the other hand, a decline of 600 points was also seen in Nifty. Due to which the stock market investors or rather the companies listed in BSE lost about Rs 10 lakh crore.

The special thing is that there was a huge decline in the shares of 10 companies of the country. Due to which the combined market cap of these companies lost more than Rs 2.51 lakh crore. Which is more than 25 percent of the total sales. In this list, the country’s largest company Reliance Industries suffered the most loss. According to BSE data, the shares of these top companies have seen a decline of 2 percent to 4 percent during the trading session. How much loss did the country’s top 10 companies suffer?

  1. The market cap of the country’s largest company Reliance Industries was Rs 17,68,229.17 crore on Tuesday, which led to a loss of Rs 47,160.9 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 17,21,068.27 crore.
  2. The market cap of the country’s largest private lender HDFC Bank was Rs 12,77,392.39 crore on Tuesday, in which it suffered a loss of Rs 34,736.45 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 12,42,655.94 crore.
  3. The market cap of the country’s largest telecom giant Airtel was Rs 11,72,864.88 crore on Tuesday, in which it suffered a loss of Rs 29,857.07 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 11,43,007.81 crore.
  4. The market cap of the country’s largest private lender ICICI Bank was Rs 10,14,672.08 crore on Tuesday, in which it suffered a loss of Rs 27,008.67 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 9,87,663.41 crore.
  5. The market cap of the country’s largest NBFC Bajaj Finance was Rs 6,48,868.15 crore on Tuesday, in which it suffered a loss of Rs 23,781.98 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 6,25,086.17 crore.
  6. The market cap of the country’s largest government lender SBI was Rs 9,57,953.49 crore on Tuesday, in which it suffered a loss of Rs 23,722.68 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 9,34,230.81 crore.
  7. The market cap of the country’s largest FMCG company was Rs 5,19,271.41 crore on Tuesday, in which there was a loss of Rs 18,808.47 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 5,00,462.94 crore.
  8. The market cap of the country’s largest IT company TCS was Rs 7,57,705.50 crore on Tuesday, in which it suffered a loss of Rs 16,575.99 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 7,41,129.51 crore.
  9. The market cap of the country’s largest infra company Larsen & Toubro was Rs 5,49,658.87 crore on Tuesday, in which it suffered a loss of Rs 16,434.96 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 5,33,223.91 crore.
  10. The market cap of the country’s largest insurance company LIC was Rs 5,50,844.04 crore on Tuesday, in which it suffered a loss of Rs 12,776.49 crore during the trading session on Wednesday and the market cap came down to Rs 5,38,067.55 crore.

Big fall in stock market

There was a big fall in the stock market on Wednesday. After the closing of the stock market, the Sensex closed at 76,503.60 points with a fall of 1677.12 points. Whereas during the trading session the Sensex had reached the day’s lower level of 76,259.03 points. Whereas Sensex opened at 77,816.45 points. On the other hand, the main index of National Stock Exchange Nifty closed at 23,882.05 points with a fall of 516.65 points.

US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that the interim agreement with Iran has ended but he will allow talks to continue. When asked about the status of the ceasefire, Trump said that I think it has ended. Talking with them is a waste of time. In Asian markets, South Korea’s Kospi fell 5.35 percent, Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 2.11 percent and China’s SSE Composite fell 0.49 percent. At the same time, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng gained 2.99 percent. American markets closed with a decline on Tuesday. The price of international standard Brent crude stood at around $ 78.75 per barrel with an increase of 6.19 percent.
