Smriti used to work six days a week and on one day off she would go to audition for TV shows. After continuous efforts, he got his first TV show and then the direction of his career changed. After this, she got the role of Tulsi Virani in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. This character became so popular that Smriti Irani started being known as 'Tulsi' in every household. In the year 2025, she made a comeback on TV after 17 years with 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2'. After acting, Smriti Irani entered politics and took up big responsibilities. She was one of the youngest ministers in the government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has also handled important departments like Human Resource Development and Textiles Ministry.
