US President Donald Trump made more than 800 posts and reposts on his social media platform Truth Social in May 2026. American media Politico analyzed all these posts, which revealed that Trump’s main focus was on the Republican Party, Iran war and the development of Washington DC.
According to the report, in May, Trump made maximum 222 posts on issues related to the Republican Party and party politics. He endorsed several candidates, touted his political victories and criticized the leaders who stood against him. Trump also tried to show that he has a strong hold on the Republican Party.
80 posts related to Washington DC
After this, the most discussed topic was the development and beautification of Washington DC. Trump made 80 posts on this topic. He mentioned plans to build a bigger ballroom in the White House and renovate the famous Reflecting Pool of the National Mall. He said that Washington’s old beauty and identity is being brought back.
68 posts on Iran and nuclear issue
Iran war was also one of Trump’s main issues. He made 68 posts on this topic. Trump repeatedly said that Iran will not be allowed to make nuclear weapons. He also claimed that if any agreement is reached with Iran, it will be better than the agreement made by former President Barack Obama.
Apart from this, Trump made 62 posts on foreign policy, 55 posts accusing his political opponents and 44 posts criticizing the media. He also made 32 posts attacking Democrat leaders. According to the report, Trump made 29 posts on fairness of elections, 22 posts on economy and inflation, 11 posts on immigration and 17 posts on other domestic issues.
Most posts between 10 and 11 pm
In May, Trump also shared 77 posts related to pictures and symbols. Some of these were also pictures created by AI. In one photo, his face was shown on Mount Rushmore, while in the other he was seen walking with a powerful alien near Area-51.
The report also said that Trump’s account was most active between 10 pm and 11 pm. In this one hour he made more than 78 posts. Apart from this, he also shared 9 posts related to his health, medical examination and cognitive test. Politico said that during this study, each post of May was divided into different topics. Also, no Artificial Intelligence (AI) was used for analysis.
