When a student gets a job offer after completing his studies from IIM, that moment is one of the most special moments of his life. Years of hard work, dreams and struggles finally seem to be bearing fruit. But imagine, if the same job later turns out to be just a lie, then what will happen to that person? One such painful experience happened with a woman who had done MBA from IIM Bodh Gaya, who had left her city, friends and even home in the dream of a new start in her career.

This matter came to light on social media platform X through a page named Jacks Smirking Revenge. While sharing her ordeal, the woman said that she spent several days thinking whether to bring this incident to the public or not. Ultimately he decided to share his story so that others could be alert to such situations.

got a job offer

According to the woman, she had completed her MBA in the year 2026. As soon as he completed his studies, he got a job offer from a company. The joining date was also fixed along with the offer letter. It was like a dream come true for him. Without much delay, he started preparing for a new beginning in his future. He was asked by the company to join in Delhi. She was so confident about the job that she immediately packed her things and decided to shift to Delhi.

He spent about Rs 75 thousand on living arrangements, travel and other needs in the new city. He was confident that all this would prove to be a right step for his career, but what happened after reaching Delhi, broke all his dreams. When the woman reached the office, it was locked. They did not understand what the matter was. There was no one present in the office where he had to start the job. Seeing this she was completely surprised and upset.

After trying continuously for a few days, he was told by the company that the office was currently closed because that place was taken on lease. However, the company assured that they will be given work through work from home. The woman was told that she could start working from home from May 11. She trusted the company’s words and started waiting. But even on May 11, no work started. Neither any official mail came nor anyone contacted him. Even after several days passed, the situation remained the same. Ultimately the company told him that his joining has now been postponed till July.

This entire incident troubled the woman both mentally and financially. He says that if the company had clearly informed about the situation in advance, it would not have shifted to Delhi so soon and it would not have had to suffer such a huge financial loss. He also said that the company had promised to refund the relocation expenses. He had made all the arrangements on this trust. When there was continuous hesitation from the company’s side, the woman tried to directly contact the company’s MD and CEO Virendra Pandey. He wanted to call and explain his problem and raised the issue of expenses. But the woman alleges that instead of listening to her, she was blocked. After this no one from the company contacted him.
