First he took a lift in the car of an unknown person and later the person who assured him of help, his intentions also turned out to be not good. 36-year-old Stephanie, a resident of Melbourne, had gone to Europe with her friends in October last year. They asked him several times to stop the car and let them off, but the driver did not listen to them. On the contrary, he started driving at a faster speed. Seeing the atmosphere he understood that something was not right. Without wasting any time, he sent his live location to his kiteboarding instructor, so that his location would be available to anyone if needed.
On the way, another person sitting in the front seat of the car asks the driver if other people are also going to come to his house. To this the driver replies that no, no one else is coming. On hearing this answer, Stephanie was convinced that the matter was very serious. He also felt that perhaps the other person sitting with the driver was not fully aware of his real plan. After traveling about 12 kilometers, the car reached a house with a big gate. As soon as the car stopped, Stephanie noticed that the car door was not locked. He didn’t waste even a moment. Immediately opened the door and ran away from there with full force. She kept running continuously and stopped only when she was sure that no one was following her.
After walking for a long time, she reached a small town. There he met a security guard. Due to language problem, he explained the entire incident to her with the help of mobile translation app. The guard assured that he would drop them safely to their hotel. Stephanie felt that now she had got relief and finally found someone to help her, but her problem was not over yet. After walking some distance, the security guard stopped his car at a deserted place. Then he took Stephanie’s mobile and typed a message in it through the translation app. It was written in it that I am dropping you at the hotel, what will you do for me in return?
Stephanie was shocked as soon as she read this message. He understood that the intentions of the person whom he had trusted were also not good. This time also he did not lose courage. As soon as she got the chance, she opened the car door and ran away from there. To save her life, she hid in a nearby vineyard. After staying there for some time, he started walking towards the hotel on foot. She was very scared the whole way. Whenever she saw a car coming, she would hide herself so that no one could see her. He also bought a drink from a vending machine on the way. She said that if needed in future, the record of that purchase can prove that she was present there at that time.
After several hours of trouble and fear, Stephanie finally reached her hotel safely. This entire incident changed his thinking. He told that his dream of buying a house in Italy and working there for a long time has been postponed for the time being. Now even if she goes to Italy in future, she will not go alone but with a trusted companion.
