May 22, 2026 by Uma Shankar

If you find it a burden to carry heavy items or shopping bags in shopping malls or busy markets, then the new service started in Delhi can be a relief for you. Business model making companies Andelivery, Vivek Commerce and E-Com Logistics have converted new employment opportunities into business models. For example, e-com companies have transformed wheelchairs at stations and a new service sector at airports.

Half hour to hour facility

According to Bagsfy, a 30-minute package is available for ₹79, a one-hour package for ₹119 and a two-hour package for ₹179. Long term packages are also available. At present this service is limited to Delhi but may start in other cities later. This service is also providing employment to retired elders, students and housewives.

Not just lifting bags, many more facilities

This service is not limited to just lifting shopping bags. Keeping in mind the convenience of the customers, many additional facilities are also being provided. This includes facilities like portable folding chair, mobile charging support, power bank, umbrella to protect from sun or rain and stroller for small children.

This facility is considered to be a great relief for the elderly, women and families with children while roaming in crowded malls or big markets for a long time.

Youth and elderly are getting employment

A big benefit of this service is also coming in the form of employment. The company says that through this model, students, retired elderly and housewives are getting employment opportunities.

Those who want to work part time can earn by joining this service. This is also giving people the opportunity to earn additional income.

Such services already exist in foreign countries

Such facilities already exist in countries like Britain and Japan. Many companies there provide the service of delivering the bags to home after shopping. In some big malls, customers can also avail the facility of keeping the goods safe after shopping.

This model is still new in India, but considering the rapidly changing lifestyle and increasing convenience culture, its demand may increase. Especially in big cities where people spend hours in malls and markets, this service can be quite popular.

The world of shopping is changing

In the era of online shopping, offline markets are also trying to provide better experience to the customers. In such a situation, this new service is being considered a big step towards making shopping easy and comfortable.
