Now there will be no protest on Yamuna Expressway, 41 km stretch declared ‘No Protest Zone’

A major step has been taken to keep the traffic system safe and smooth on Yamuna Expressway. The entire stretch of Yamuna Expressway falling within the boundaries of Gautam Buddha Nagar district has now been declared a no protest zone. Under this, no protest of any kind will be allowed on Yamuna Expressway from 0 point to 41 kilometer.

This decision has been taken after the instructions given by Allahabad High Court. The main objective of the order is to keep the movement of vehicles on the expressway uninterrupted and to ensure the safety of passengers.

There will be a ban on political and non-political demonstrations

After the implementation of the order, there will be a complete ban on activities like demonstrations, dharnas or road jams by any political organization, social organization or other group in this part of Yamuna Expressway. According to officials, Yamuna Expressway is an important route, through which a large number of passengers and big vehicles pass every day. Due to any demonstration or road blockage, traffic gets affected and common people have to face problems. Keeping this in view, this decision has been taken.

Information boards are being installed at various places

On behalf of Police Commissionerate Gautam Budh Nagar, information boards are being installed at major places of the expressway to make the information about this order available to the people. Apart from this, this information will also be displayed in the concerned police station area and police offices. For public awareness, people are being told through different mediums that any kind of demonstration on Yamuna Expressway will be considered a violation of the rules.

Action will be taken against those who break the rules

Police Commissionerate Gautam Buddha Nagar will continuously monitor the expressway. Necessary action will be taken by the police to maintain law and order and avoid affecting traffic. Officials say that people’s safety and smooth travel is a priority. Keeping this in mind, Yamuna Expressway has been declared a protest zone so that the general public and motorists do not have to face any kind of problem.
