Before the march, on Sunday, Jantar Mantar was crowded with people ranging from common people to political personalities and film stars. Throughout the day, there was discussion on taking Sonam Wangchuk from Jantar Mantar to Safdarjung Hospital, the demand for resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and the protest march to be held on Monday. Meanwhile, former Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia reached Jantar Mantar on Sunday in support of Sonam Wangchuk and said that now the country is in dire need of an education revolution.
The first need in the education revolution is to free the country from the paper mafia. The truth is that not only paper is being sold in the country, but the future of all our children is being sold in the market. This fight will decide whether the hard-working student will progress in this country or the one who buys paper on the basis of money and access.
Appeal to people regarding Parliament march
Manish Sisodia said that Sonam Wangchuk has taken the initiative to bring education revolution by risking her body. But the Prime Minister sent his goons and performed the magic of white sheet and made Sonam Wangchuk disappear. If only! Had the Prime Minister shown this magic on the Education Minister’s chair, Dharmendra Pradhan would have disappeared. Appealing to the people, he said that this fight is not of any party, but of our children. On Monday, the youth of the country will march from Jantar Mantar to Parliament. Supporters of all parties should also come to Jantar Mantar for their children.
Movement to get freedom from paper mafia
Sisodia said that the first need of education revolution is to free the country from paper mafia. A large number of youth are sitting here to get freedom from the paper mafia. This dharna going on at Jantar Mantar may be under the banner of Cockroach Janata Party and people from different parties are coming here, but in reality it is a movement to liberate the country from the paper mafia under the education revolution. Abhijit Deepke, Ashutosh Ranka, Saurabh Das, our girls took up this movement of education revolution on their shoulders and Sonam Wangchuk has taken the lead of education revolution by risking her body.
