Now it is mandatory to show doctor’s prescription
Now you will not be able to buy any syrup (like cough, cold or fever syrup) from the medical store without a doctor’s prescription. The Central Government has implemented a new rule from 9 June 2026. Earlier, some mango syrups were available without doctor’s prescription. The government has now removed him from that list. Now it will be mandatory to show a written prescription from a doctor to buy any kind of syrup including cough medicine.
