
Union Health Minister JP Nadda on Monday launched PM-JAY’s WhatsApp chatbot named Ayushman Sarathi. Now the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Yojana will be able to avail the services related to the scheme 24 hours, anytime and from anywhere only through WhatsApp.
According to the government, now people will not have to visit government offices or call centers to get Ayushman card made, to get information or to lodge complaints. This chatbot is directly connected to the PM-JAY system and will provide information in real time.

- Locking and Unlocking Ayushman Card
- Information about Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card for people aged 70 years and above

- Searching nearby empaneled hospitals
- Register a complaint, check its status or withdraw a complaint
- Request a call back
- Providing feedback on service after discharge from hospital
- The government says that through Ayushman Sarathi, people will get health services in an easier, faster and transparent manner than before. This will also reduce dependence on government offices and call centres.
How to use?
Beneficiaries can access Ayushman Sarathi by sending Hi on WhatsApp to the number +91 72908 23838 or by scanning the official QR code. This service will be available 24 hours, seven days a week.
What is Ayushman Sarathi Chatbot?
Ayushman Sarathi Chatbot is a new digital health service of the Central Government, which is National Health Authority and the Ministry of Health Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana has been prepared for the beneficiaries. This is a WhatsApp based chatbot, through which people will be able to easily get information and services related to Ayushman Yojana. The aim of the government is that people should have to make less visits to government hospitals or help desks and services should be available on mobile only, especially people living in rural and remote areas should not have to face problems.
