
After failing miserably in the Iran war, a phase of action has begun in America. The Trump administration has removed Robert Gabriel Jr. from the post of Deputy Security Advisor. Mike Needham, an officer close to Marco Rubio, has been appointed in his place. Gabriel resigned from the post of White House Deputy Security Advisor on May 21. Earlier Director of Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard Resignation was taken. Gabbard had criticized the Trump administration during the Iran war.
According to American outlet Axios, Mike Needham’s appointment has come at a time when America is embroiled in the war between Venezuela, Cuba and Iran. Needham will advise Trump on security matters. Needham’s boss will be Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who has the additional responsibility of National Security Advisor.
Why did Robert Gabriel Jr. step down?
Gabriel was once considered a trusted officer of President Donald Trump, but in recent times, the manner in which America has been tarnished on security issues. Questions were being raised about his working style. After this Gabriel resigned from his post.
Needham, who was working with Rubio, has been appointed in his place. Rubio was given additional charge by the White House last year when Mike Waltz was removed from the post of security advisor.
Top 4 officers were killed in one month
From April 26 to May 26…that is, in the last one month, top-4 officers related to American security matters have been killed. Apart from Gabriel and Gabbard, US Navy Secretary John Phelan and US Army Chief of Staff Randy George have been removed from their posts. All these officers who left the post were connected to the Iran war in some way or the other.
When President Donald Trump started the war on February 28, he hoped for a coup in Iran, but America could not succeed in its mission. On the contrary, Iran blocked the Strait of Hormuz.
America made a lot of efforts to open this strait, but it could not get success. In the end America chose the path of compromise. Now talks are going on between the two countries regarding the agreement.
