New earbuds seen on certification website
According to the report of Tech Outlook, Nothing Ear 3a and CMF Buds Neo have received approval from the SDPPI Certification Authority of Indonesia. Nothing Ear 3a is listed with model number B193, while CMF Buds Neo is seen with model number B190. Both the certifications are said to have been issued on June 2, 2026. What to expect from Nothing Ear 3a?
Nothing had launched Nothing Ear 3 in the market last year and now the company seems to be preparing to add a new model in this series. According to the report, Nothing Ear 3a can be offered as a relatively affordable option in the company’s current product lineup. Even before this, the company had introduced the Ear (a) model as a lower priced option than the standard Ear series. However, till now the company has not shared any official information related to design, battery, audio quality or other features. In such a situation, more information about it is expected to be revealed only as the launch comes closer.
CMF Buds Neo can be made in India
CMF Buds Neo have also been spotted on India’s BIS certification website. According to the report, in this listing, Optimus Electronics Limited has been mentioned as the manufacturer and the production facility located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh has also been mentioned. This indicates that this new audio product can be made in India only. This step is considered to be in line with Nothing’s strategy, under which the company is increasing local production through its Make in India campaign. At present, the company has not disclosed the price, features and launch timeline of CMF Buds Neo, but with its certification in many markets, the possibility of its launch soon has become stronger.
