Regarding the recent CJP (Cockroach Janata Party) protest in Delhi, the matter is no longer limited to just street protests, but has now taken the form of a legal battle. Delhi Police has so far registered a total of 10 FIRs on the basis of different incidents related to the protest. Many serious sections have been imposed in these FIRs, which include allegations like illegal assembly, obstruction in government work, attack on police, rioting, damage to public property, attempt to murder and criminal conspiracy.
However, the most interesting thing is that at present no accused has been named in these FIRs. In such a situation, the question is being raised that in what direction will these FIRs registered without any named accused go further and what effect can they have on the people participating in the protest. Police say that the investigation is still going on and further action will be taken based on the evidence.

According to Delhi Police, law and order was affected at different places during the protests, after which cases were registered in various police stations. Sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), Arms Act and Protection from Damage to Public Property Act (PDPP Act) have been imposed in these FIRs registered in Sansad Marg, Connaught Place, Barakhamba Road, Mandir Marg and Dutva Path police station areas.
Most serious case in Sansad Marg police station
The most serious case among these is considered to be the FIR lodged at Sansad Marg police station, where the police have alleged that the mob violated government orders, attacked policemen, damaged public property and the entire incident took place as part of a conspiracy. On the other hand, the police have not named any person yet, due to which the scope of investigation has become quite wide.

According to Delhi Police, cases related to the protest have been registered in different police station areas. A total of 10 FIRs have been registered in different police stations in cases related to CJP protest. Of these, maximum 4 FIRs have been registered in Sansad Marg police station. Apart from this, 3 FIRs have been registered in Connaught Place police station, while 1 FIR has been registered in Mandir Marg, Barakhamba Road and Dutva Path police stations. Police say that investigation in all the cases is ongoing and further legal action will be taken based on the evidence.
What are the allegations in the Sansad Marg FIR?
The FIR lodged at Sansad Marg police station is being considered the most important. Police allege that during the demonstration, a crowd was gathered without permission, government orders were ignored, policemen were prevented from doing duty and they were attacked. Apart from this, allegations of damaging public property and spreading violence have also been made.
Which sections have been added?
For this reason, along with many serious sections of the Indian Justice Code (BNS), sections of the Arms Act and Protection from Damage to Public Property Act (PDPP Act) have been added to the FIR lodged at Sansad Marg police station. In this case, the police have made serious allegations like attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy, illegal assembly, rioting, committing crime with common intention, obstructing government work, attacking policemen and damaging public property. On the basis of these sections, the police is investigating the entire incident and further legal action will be taken based on the evidence.

Why is the FIR of Barakhamba Road police station important?
Many serious sections have also been imposed in the FIR registered at Barakhamba Road police station. The police allege that during the demonstration, government work was disrupted, government orders were ignored, policemen were attacked and violence was resorted to by gathering crowds illegally. Apart from this, serious charges like rioting with deadly weapons, damaging public property and attempt to murder have also been included in this FIR.
The police have also invoked Section 3 of the Protection from Damage to Public Property Act (PDPP Act) in this case. Officials say that investigation into the case is ongoing and further legal action will be taken based on the available evidence.
No accused named, then what next?
The most important thing about these FIRs is that no person has been named in them yet. In the legal process, this happens when the police have information about the incident, but the investigation into the identity of the accused or their role has not been completed yet. After this, the police can identify people on the basis of video footage, CCTV, mobile records, photos and other evidence. People whose role will come to light during the investigation can be made accused later.
What will the police do next in this case?
Delhi Police says that investigation of all the cases related to the protest is still going on. During the investigation, CCTV footage of the incident site, video recordings, videos made from mobile phones and other digital evidence are being closely examined. Apart from this, statements of eyewitnesses and other available evidence are also being collected. Police say that after the completion of the investigation, further action will be taken as per law against those people whose role will be clear and against whom sufficient evidence will be found.
What is CJP protest and why is it happening?
The CJP protest started with demands related to the NEET paper leak and protest against alleged irregularities in the recruitment examinations. The protesting students and youth say that paper leaks and irregularities in the examination system have affected the future of lakhs of candidates. A demonstration was held on this issue at Jantar Mantar in Delhi, where a large number of people gathered in support of their demands. Police allege that during the demonstration, the stipulated conditions were violated, barricades were broken and law and order was affected.
