Bengaluru is called the Silicon Valley of India, but its lifestyle and rising expenses are often in the news. Recently a tech professional made his monthly budget. social media But shared, people are surprised to see it. The most interesting thing is that this tech professional neither goes out much nor parties on weekends, yet his monthly expenses reach Rs 74,000.

Ayush Thakur, ML engineer at Walmart, gave an account of his expenses while sharing a video on Instagram. He told that his house rent is Rs 18,000, the expenses of maid and cook are Rs 3,000, Rs 1,000 goes towards Wi-Fi and electricity bill. By getting cabs and food from the company, they save on their office travel and lunch expenses.

Fitness, Online Shopping and Investment

Ayush told that he spends around Rs 12,000 on groceries, home food and protein supplements for fitness. Apart from this, Rs 10,000 is spent on late night shopping and other things from Amazon. At the same time, a major part of the budget, Rs 30,000 every month, goes towards SIP and investment. Ayush said in a humorous tone that the money lying idle in the account cannot be trusted, hence investment is necessary.

People made many comments on this video of Ayush. Some people said that growing up in big cities or living alone means paying huge bills. A user wrote that Rs 74,000 is nothing, his monthly expenses are only Rs 3 lakh. Another user said that do not consider SIP as an expense, it is a savings because the money will come back to you.
