Amit Shah said, “The makers of our Constitution have given every person the right to live with self-respect in their original religion. No one can change anyone’s religion by greed, greed or force and I believe that if the tribal community gathered here today (Vanvasi Kumbh) decides that whatever may be our religion, we will continue to live our lives according to the different types of beliefs of the tribal communities, then it will be very important. Shah said that all the tribes have implemented the mantra of unity in diversity and diversity in unity without any written rule.
No restrictions of UCC apply to forest dwelling society
On the ongoing discussions regarding Uniform Civil Code (UCC), the Home Minister said that some people are trying to spread the misconception that UCC will deprive the tribal society of the right to live according to their traditions and culture. He clearly said that it has been made clear by the Home Ministry of Narendra Modi government that no restrictions of UCC will apply to the forest dwelling community. Shah said that even in the UCC implemented in BJP ruled Gujarat and Uttarakhand, tribal society has been kept out under special provisions.
Amit Shah said, “The year in which we are meeting today is the year of the 150th birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. The Ulgulan (Revolt) movement had shaken the foundation of British rule. At that time, despite having no facilities of communication, Lord Birsa Munda spread the message from Jharkhand to Gujarat and across India to tribal communities that this is our country, our religion is the true religion, and no one can occupy our forests.”
Tribal lifestyle has been called the “biggest sustainable model”
The Union Home Minister further said that forests, mountains and water places are at the center of the faith, livelihood and cultural identity of the tribal communities. He described the tribal lifestyle as “the biggest sustainable model” and said that the tribal communities have maintained the principle of “unity in diversity and diversity in unity” without any written rules.
Shah said, “For our tribal brothers, these water places, forests and mountains are centers of faith, a source of livelihood and a stronghold to protect their identity and culture. Today, if there is any biggest sustainable model, it is the one created by our tribal communities, and we have come forward to save it. Without any written rules, all the tribes have worked together to fulfill the mantra of ‘unity in diversity and diversity in unity’.” Have done.”
