Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) chief and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde Speaking at a program organized at NESCO Center in Goregaon on the 60th anniversary of Shiv Sena, he said that Shiv Sainiks are the true heirs of Balasaheb Thackeray’s thoughts. Merely declaring one’s kinship does not make one an heir. Merely adding someone’s name (Thackeray) in front of the name does not make one an heir. Shiv Sena is not a piece of land. Shiv Sena is a movement of ideas and your and our struggles. Shiv Sena is not just a political party, but it is a saffron storm.
Eknath Shinde Said that the one who forgets saffron is finished with politics. We have seen this happening. You abandoned Balasaheb’s ideas just for the sake of power and chair. You left Hindutva for the chair. Balasaheb Thackeray was harassed and tortured even during his lifetime.
Shinde said that even after his departure, the people who abandoned his ideas and Hindutva for the sake of power were never accepted by the public. Shiv Sena is the flag bearer of Balasaheb Thackeray’s ideas, Hindutva and Marathi identity, and Shiv Sainiks are its real strength.
Mahayuti completely strong
He said that our Grand Alliance is strong, very strong and the coordination and mutual bond between the parties involved in it is continuously getting stronger. Some people are trying to create a rift between me and Devendra Fadnavis, but none of their efforts are going to succeed, because we are working as a team.
Eknath Shinde said that some people go secretly and tell them something and some people secretly convey other things about us, but they themselves come and tell us everything. After all, what are you going to tell us? Because our agenda is not just a chair. Our agenda is to bring change in the lives of the people of Maharashtra. We are working on the same agenda.
He said that therefore no matter how much effort one puts in, Mahayuti will continue to move forward in Maharashtra and will move forward at a fast pace. You have seen the two and a half year tenure of Mahayuti. In these two and a half years, we removed all the obstacles coming in the way of development. Earlier some people always had their foot on the brake, but our foot is on the accelerator. For this reason, the vehicle of development is running at the speed of a bullet train.
Maharashtra’s progress is our agenda
Eknath Shinde said that I worked for two and a half years and tried to take Maharashtra forward. Now Devendra Fadnavis is working. We both are working as a team. We have only one agenda – progress of Maharashtra and development of the people.
Eknath Shinde said that every person should be happy and prosperous. It is our wish that farmers, toilers, laborers and my dear sisters live a happy life. Ladki Bahin Yojana was started in true sense. I myself have seen poverty, suffered poverty. I have seen my mother and my wife struggle and save to run the household.
Ladki bahin scheme will not be stopped
Shinde said that after becoming the Chief Minister, we decided to start the Mukhyamantri Ladki Bahin Yojana. Some people tried to hinder this plan, but my Ladki sisters gave them a befitting reply and completely rejected their politics. Therefore, I want to say clearly that no matter who comes to power, the Ladki Bahin Yojana will never be stopped. This is the word of your Eknath Shinde.
Shinde said that whatever we say, we do it. We are people who believe in the ideals of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. With his blessings we are working and moving forward keeping his ideals in mind. Serving the suffering and needy people is the lesson of true Shivarai Shivaji. We are serving the public with the same spirit.
