CJI Surya Kant has decided not to take any action against the petitioner who threw papers and abused in front of the Supreme Court bench. A petitioner had done this before the bench of Justice KV Vishwanathan and Justice Alok Aradhe, after which the security personnel took him into custody and went out of the courtroom. An FIR could have been lodged against this petitioner by the Supreme Court Registrar, but it was decided not to take any action.
The Supreme Court believes that such incidents are also carried out to gain cheap popularity. In such a situation, by taking steps, the person concerned will be successful in his objective. When the CJI was informed about this incident by the Registrar, he also directed not to take any further action in this matter.
What is the matter?
In fact, during the hearing in the Supreme Court on Friday, a lawyer created a ruckus. The lawyer abused the court and threw the case file in the courtroom. At that time Chief Justice Surya Kant was not present in the courtroom. Justice K.V. The bench of Justice Vishwanathan and Justice Alok Aradhe was hearing this petition. The petitioner was fighting his case on his own without any lawyer.
During the hearing, he described himself as “sovereign”, and threw papers from the case file in the air. Due to this behavior of the petitioner, there was silence in the courtroom for some time and the security personnel immediately threw him out of the courtroom.
‘FIR against ACP’
As soon as the hearing began, the petitioner said, “Your Honor, I order you to register an FIR against the ACP of Lucknow.” Justice KV Vishwanathan expressed surprise and asked, “Are you ordering me?”
The petitioner replied, “That’s all from my side, everything is on record.” Then he threw the case file in the air and started abusing. The security personnel immediately intervened and took him out of the courtroom.
