Nirjala Ekadashi 2026 Fast Paran Time: Today, devotees of Lord Vishnu are observing fast on Nirjala Ekadashi of Jyeshtha month. This is considered to be the most difficult of all Ekadashi fasts, because along with food, water is also sacrificed in this fast. The glory of this fast is limitless. There is a mythological belief that Bhimsen himself observed this fast. There is a religious belief that by observing the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi, one attains the virtue of observing Ekadashi fasts throughout the year.

By fasting on the day of Nirjala Ekadashi without consuming water and doing special worship of Lord Vishnu, the soul gets liberated from the cycle of birth and death and gets a place in Vaikuntha Dham, but the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi is considered complete only when this fast is observed as per the rules. It is advised to take special care of Hari Vasar while observing Nirjala Ekadashi fast. This year the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi will be broken tomorrow i.e. on 26th June. Let us know the auspicious time of breaking the fast and the time of Hari Vasar.

According to the scriptures, the fast of Ekadashi is always broken on Dwadashi Tithi. Pay special attention to Nirjala Ekadashi while breaking the fast.

Special attention is paid to the time of Hari Vasar, the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi. There is a religious belief that if Hari Vasar is not kept in mind while breaking the fast, then the full results of this fast are not achieved. If the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi is broken during Hari Vasar, the fast is considered ineffective. This is the reason why special meditation of Hari Vasar is said before breaking this fast.
