Nirjala Ekadashi 2026: Today is the fast of Nirjala Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month. Main doors: This evening on Nirjala Ekadashi, light a lamp on the right side of the door frame of the main door of the house (when you are leaving the house). Keep this lamp facing south direction. By doing this negative energy does not come into the house.
Lakshmi Temple: If possible, then go to Lakshmi temple today and light a lamp at the feet of God.
Below Peepal: Be sure to light a lamp under the Peepal tree this evening. Peepal is considered a very sacred tree. It is said in the scriptures that Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh i.e. the Trinity reside in Peepal. It is believed that by lighting a lamp under this tree, even the biggest problems can be averted.
