Nijjar massacre: No evidence found against Indian officials, Justin Trudeau kept telling lies to the world

July 8, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Big news has come to light in the case of the murder of Khalistani separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia, Canada in the year 2023. Canada’s Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has said in its statement that there is no evidence against Indian officers in the Nijjar murder case. The police has made it clear that the Indian government or any of its officials has no connection with this murder.

In fact, in the year 2023, the then Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (Justin Trudeau ) had claimed that Indian agents could have a role in this murder. After his statement, tensions between the two countries increased. India had completely rejected this claim and asked Canada to present evidence.

Statement of RCMP Deputy Commissioner

Now, while talking to the media, RCMP Deputy Commissioner Lisa Moreland said that during the investigation of the Nijjar murder case, no evidence has been found linking the Indian government or Indian officials to this case. He said that no evidence has emerged of the involvement of Indian government officials in the organized crime network that is being investigated. However, he also said that a separate investigation into the Nijjar murder is still going on, so it would not be right to comment in detail on it.

Accusations against Bishnoi and Brar

Lisa Moreland’s statement comes at a time when America has framed charges against Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar for the murder of Nijjar. According to the federal indictment filed in Los Angeles, USA, on June 18, 2023, Bishnoi and Brar had ordered Nijjar to be shot dead outside a Gurudwara in Surrey, British Columbia province of Canada.

operation from jail

The indictment claims that despite being in jail, Lawrence Bishnoi was conducting the entire operation through a smuggled mobile phone, and also provided Nijjar’s photograph and several of his addresses to a co-conspirator so that the murder could be carried out. Under ‘Operation Hard Ball’ run by the US Justice Department, it has become clear that Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the murder of Nijjar.

Nijjar was murdered on 18 June 2023

Nijjar was murdered on June 18, 2023, in the parking lot of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara located in Surrey city of British Columbia province of Canada. He was shot dead by two masked attackers near his car. A video of the incident was also released in which two masked attackers were seen firing at him. India had placed a reward of Rs 10 lakh on Nijjar. He also had links with the terrorist organization Sikh for Justice (SFJ).
