‘Nibuda-Nibuda-Nibuda’…Aishwarya Rai’s song published in 8th class book, know what is the truth

June 29, 2026 by Uma Shankar

‘To what extent is it right to teach film songs to children in school?’ Some similar questions are being asked on social media. This is not the first time that there has been controversy over publishing something strange in books. Even before this, many such cases have come to light. The lyrics written in this book are going viral on social media. According to the post going viral on social media, Bollywood’s hit song ‘Nibuda-Nibuda-Nibuda’ has been published in an Odia language book.

People are expressing their displeasure over the printing of film songs in the book. Along with publishers, people are also criticizing the education department on social media as to how far it is right to teach film songs to children? For now let us know about this in details.

2 songs were published

In this book, lyrics of two songs are seen printed on one page, in which it is being said about the song printed on the right side that it is ‘Nibuda-Nibuda-Nibuda’ song. Now that it was written in Odia language, it was important to understand it clearly, hence we checked the pictures of these viral books through reverse image and AI tool, in which it was found that these are indeed the lyrics of the song ‘Nibuda-Nibuda-Nibuda’.

This Kashmiri song was published

The song printed on the left side of the page of this book is a folk song of Kashmiri language. Its lyrics are ‘Shubi Shabaash Chaani Puchhai Lo Lo’. This is a line from a famous Kashmiri folk song “Rinj Push Maal…”, which means “Well done to the shadow that follows my beloved”.

If we understand this, it seems that there has been a big mistake in printing, because this book has been made a part of the curriculum to give information to children about local folk culture, arts and music.

The book is for class 8, not class 5.

This book is being described on social media as being of 5th class, whereas after fact checking its cover, it was found that it is a class 8 book. The name of this book is “Kriti” which is a book on art education. Class VIII is written in Odia language on its cover. At present, due to such mistakes in the printing of books, questions are being raised on the people responsible for the printing of a book.
