Users taking WhatsApp Plus subscription will get many additional features compared to the normal app. According to the company, subscribers will get the option of 18 new color themes, which include options like Royal Purple, Vibrant Blue, Fuchsia Pink and Forest Green. Apart from this, users will be able to choose the icon of their choice from 14 new designs instead of the default app icon. In this, the look and experience of WhatsApp has been made more personal and attractive. However, this feature will be limited to the visual experience of the app and will not make any changes in the messaging system.
Benefits of chat management and exclusive ringtones
With WhatsApp Plus, users will also be given up to 10 exclusive ringtones, which include options like Meadow, Carnival, Ripple and Flutter. Apart from this, additional features will also be available for chat management. While normal users can pin a limited number of chats, Plus subscribers will be able to pin up to 20 chats to the top of their chat list. You will also get the option to customize the chat list as per your need. The company has made it clear that this subscription will not make any changes in the main features like calling, status and end-to-end encryption.

The process of activating WhatsApp Plus has been kept quite easy. For this, users will first have to open the WhatsApp app and go to the Settings section. Here, after tapping on the subscriptions option, you have to select WhatsApp Plus. After this, you will have to click on Continue to complete the payment process. After successful payment, the user will get a notification that WhatsApp Plus has been activated on his account. According to reports, new subscribers can get the first month free, while after that Rs 79 will be charged every month.
