
Amazon Echo Dot Max, Amazon Echo Studio: Amazon launched its new smart home speakers Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio in India on Wednesday, May 27. The company had introduced these devices for the first time in the event of September 2025 and now they have been launched in the Indian market. The new speakers have Amazon’s custom AJ3 series chips which make Alexa’s performance better than before. The company claims that these new devices will have better sound, smart home control and strong privacy features. Echo Dot Max also has a more powerful base than before.
Entry in India with price and offers
The price of Amazon Echo Dot Max in India has been kept at Rs 10,999. This device is available in Amethyst, Glacier White and Graphite color options. The price of Amazon Echo Studio has been fixed at Rs 23,999 and it can be purchased in Glacier White and Graphite colors. Both devices are available for sale through Amazon and Flipkart. The company is also giving 5 percent cashback to Prime subscribers on purchases made through Amazon Pay ICICI Bank Credit Card. Along with this, you will also get the benefit of free delivery. Amazon aims to further strengthen the reach of smart home devices in India.
Alexa experience will be better with new AJ3 chips
Amazon has provided its custom designed AJ3 and AJ3 Pro chips in Echo Dot Max and Echo Studio. The company claims that with the help of these chips, Alexa’s wake word detection has improved by about 50 percent. Apart from this, the ability to understand and respond to conversations has also become smarter than before. Users can connect up to five Echo devices simultaneously to the Fire TV Stick to provide an Alexa home theater experience. These speakers support multiple connectivity protocols like WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Thread and Mater. Apart from this, built in smart home hub is also provided in it.
Sound and privacy features
Amazon says that Echo Dot Max will get three times more base than the fifth generation Echo Dot. It has a two-way speaker setup which includes high excursion woofer and tweeter. On the other hand, Echo Studio has special audio and Dolby Atmos support which gives cinematic sound experience. It has one woofer and three full range drivers. The company has also taken special care of privacy. A separate button is provided to turn off the microphone in both the devices. Users can also view and delete their voice recordings through the Alexa app.
