Directed by Oni Sen, this series has been jointly created by Abhijeet Singh Parmar and Kushal Srivastava. The biggest strength of ‘Operation Safed Sagar’ is its strong and talented star cast. In this military drama, many brilliant actors like veteran South and Bollywood actor Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli, Adil Hussain, Mihir Ahuja, Taruk Raina, Arnav Bhasin and Amrita Bagchi are going to be seen in lead roles. The makers have left no stone unturned in their hard work to make this show. According to the makers of Feel Good Films, shooting has been done at more than 100 locations to give a very real and grand look to this series. The most surprising thing is that many of its important scenes have been shot at an altitude of more than 16,000 feet above sea level, in extremely dangerous and snowy weather. With world-class VFX and large-scale production, the series will take the audience straight to the aerial battlefield of Kargil.
The story is based on the experiences of a former Air Force officer.
The story of this series is not just about the fighter planes flying in the air, but about the personal lives of the pilots, their families and the difficult decisions they make for the country. Series co-creator Kushal Srivastava himself has served in the Indian Air Force, due to which the ‘split-second’ decisions and nuances taken in the air, which are necessary for border security, have been woven into the script. Made under the banner of Matchbox Shots and Feel Good Films, this web series is a true tribute to the heroes of our army who risked their lives for the country. So, get ready for August 7, because a new storm of patriotism is about to arrive on Netflix.
