The first match was played between Nepal and China in Singapore, in which Nepal, batting first, scored the third highest score in T20 International. He scored 313 runs for 2 wickets in 20 overs. Nepal’s opener Kushal Bhurtel played a big role in reaching this score, who completed his century against China in just 35 balls. During his century innings, Bhurtel did one more miracle and that was hitting 6 sixes in one over. In response to Nepal’s 313 runs, China was all out after scoring only 92 runs.

Nepal defeated China by 221 runs

Nepal won the first match of the Asian Games Qualifier against China by a huge margin of 221 runs. Nepal defeated China by 221 runs. This was Nepal’s biggest and overall biggest win in T20 International for runs.

China won the toss and put Nepal to bat first, of which Nepal and Kushal Bhurtel took full advantage. Of course, China had given the first blow to Nepal at the score of 22 runs but it had no effect on Nepal’s health. After the fall of the first wicket in the form of Asif Sheikh, Kushal Bhurtel’s storm came on the Singapore field, which swept away the Chinese bowlers.

Kushal Bhurtel scored a century in 35 balls

Kushal Bhurtel played a brilliant inning of 129 runs with 16 sixes in 43 balls. During this, he completed his century with 12 sixes in 35 balls. This was the second century of his T20I career. During this explosive batting, he dealt the worst blow to Chinese bowler Shen Ju Yu, in whose one over Bhurtel hit 6 sixes.

5th batsman to hit 6 sixes in an over

Kushal Bhurtel is the 5th batsman in the world to hit 6 sixes in an over in T20 cricket. Before him, Yuvraj Singh, Kieron Pollard, Deependra Ari and Manan Bashir had achieved this feat.

Apart from Bhurtel, these batsmen also stole China’s peace

Kushal Bhurtel alone did not wash his hands in the flowing Ganga of runs against China. Apart from them, Kushal Malla scored unbeaten 85 runs on 47 balls and Rohit Poudel scored unbeaten 69 runs on 21 balls. A total of 29 sixes were hit in Nepal’s innings, out of which Bhurtel alone hit 16 sixes. With the help of these 3 batsmen, Nepal set the target of scoring 314 runs in 20 overs for China.

China collapsed for 92 runs in front of Nepal’s big score

In front of a huge score like a mountain, the entire Chinese team collapsed for 92 runs in 19.2 overs. Shenxiang Zeng scored the maximum 31 runs for China. The accounts of his 4 batsmen were not opened. Whereas a total of 8 batsmen failed to touch the double figures.
