
CBI has arrested two more accused in the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak case. Latur’s doctor Dr. Manoj Shirure is also included among the arrested accused. According to CBI, Dr. Shirure played an important role in getting leaked chemistry papers to three students. One of the accused, the son of a coaching center operator, was also said to be involved.
Investigation revealed that the papers were obtained from accused P.V. Kulkarni. Whereas, the second arrested accused is Tejas Harshadkumar Shah. Tejas is the Physics Faculty at Dr. Abhang Prabhu Medical Academy (APMA), Pune. It is alleged that he had obtained leaked Physics questions of NEET-UG 2026 from the arrested accused Manisha Hawaldar.
6 days CBI custody to Manisha Havaldar
Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has sent Manisha Havildar to CBI custody for six days. She will remain in custody till May 30. The investigating agency has alleged that Manisha leaked the Physics paper and circulated it to the people. CBI has sought Manisha’s remand from the court to confront the co-accused and identify other people related to the case.
