
Politics is heated over the issue of alleged misappropriation of offerings and donations in Ayodhya Ram temple. The opposition is continuously raising questions on the Center and the government regarding this issue. The responsibility of investigating this case was handed over to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. SIT has submitted its preliminary investigation report to the UP government today (23 June).
According to the information, the 3-member Special Investigation Team has submitted its report to UP’s Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad. This report contains complete information about several investigations of the past few days. It is believed that now names of many people may come to light and many big revelations may be made.

SIT told the results of the investigation
Lucknow Division Commissioner and SIT Chairman Vijay Vishwas Pant along with both the SIT members have submitted this preliminary report to the Additional Additional Chief Secretary (Home). Pant said that we have submitted the report, it is a preliminary report and its information is confidential. He said that at present we cannot tell anything. We have informed them of the results of our investigation.

keeping an eye on further action
At the same time, it has been made clear by the government that the investigation process is still in progress. This means that this is not the final report and the investigation of the case will still continue. Recently, SIT had investigated, interrogated and examined documents at many levels regarding the Ayodhya case. Now after the preliminary report is submitted to the government, further action in this sensitive matter will be monitored.

According to sources, the report is about 150 pages long and includes details of the interrogation of about 150 persons. It is being told that SIT has recommended registration of FIR and reorganization of the temple trust. The team has also suggested the appointment of a senior government official as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the temple and giving additional time to the SIT for a detailed investigation. Sources said that the SIT has recommended to audit all the donations received by the temple in the last five years.
The report also proposes several measures to prevent future irregularities in the management of donations, including new recruitment of staff and strengthening administrative oversight. The final decision on the recommendations of the report will be taken by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
