Naked And Afraid Aadimanav: TV world’s most difficult and hair-raising survival show ‘Naked and Afraid’ has finally got its first Indian winner. Pune based brave man Lahu Ughade has won the title of ‘Naked and Afraid: Adimanav’, the Indian version of Warner Bros Discovery’s famous international show. In this show held for the first time in the Asia-Pacific region, 6 Khatron players from different corners of the country took part. All of them were left without clothes, without modern gadgets and without any comfort in the extremely scary and dense jungles of Palawan in the Philippines. The show has a simple rule – you have to live among nature like primitive humans, find your own food, avoid wild animals and face dangerous weather.
The biggest challenge of this show was the conditions there. Malhu Ughade and the other contestants searched for a way out amidst extreme cold, humidity and poisonous insects, remaining hungry and thirsty for several days. Where a common man could not survive even a day, Lahu won with his intelligence and amazing survival skills. He not only kept himself safe, but also acted as a strong pillar for his other colleagues with his clever mind.
Those strict rules of the show, which had blown the senses away
The rules of this international franchise are so strict that even the best survivors lose their temper. When these 6 contestants were dropped by helicopter on Palawan Island in the Philippines, they did not even have a piece of cloth to cover their bodies. They were only allowed to carry a pair of special ‘survival tools’ (such as a knife or firestone). From providing clean drinking water to building a safe shelter to spend the night, everything had to be done ourselves. Snakes, scorpions, strange insects and wild fruits found in the forests were the only means to satisfy their hunger. many times

The experience of conquering Everest came in handy
Lahu did not get this victory overnight. Growing up in the rocky and difficult areas of Sinhgadh, Pune, Lahu has had a deep connection with forests and trekking since childhood. He has also conquered the world’s highest peak Mount Everest. The patience he learned while climbing Everest and the art of remaining calm in adverse situations proved to be his biggest weapon in the show. In the difficult environment of the jungles, when others were losing courage, Lahu took the right decisions with his calm mind.
This show has now become a matter of pride for every Indian who likes adventure.
What did the blood say after the victory?
There is no limit to the joy of spilling blood after winning this dangerous battle of Naked and Afraid. He has described this journey as the biggest test of his life. According to him, those days spent in the forests were such that he tested his patience and courage to a point where he had never reached. Many times fear and thoughts of giving up came to his mind, but his childhood habit of living amidst mountains and forests did not let him retreat. Today, this historic victory of blood has proved that if you have a strong determination and indigenous tactics, then no forest in the world can force you to kneel.
